Our history goes back to 1993 when two post-graduate students of
Lviv Polytechnic University decided to start a software development
company in Ukraine. They had no investments but they had a lot of
enthusiasm. Their vision was supported by Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute Incubator Center and there, they started the company with
3 people. They were certain of their knowledge, programming skills
and the support of volunteers in the incubator center. In the first
year SoftServe made an excellent delivery to its first client,
General Electric. As confidence was added to the talent and
enthusiasm, they started to work harder and projects followed each
other.
Today, SoftServe is one of the largest software companies in
Eastern Europe, with more than 1000 professionals on
staff. Over the years, the founders built the company with the
vision they had all along, employing smart and talented engineers
to form strong partnership with clients around the world.
